| Full on, multi cam race sails only work properly when seriously overpowered, and even then, they're not really designed to perform across the wind on a reach. The Lightning brings you the result of lessons learned on the racing circuit, but delivers them in a true user-friendly package. The larger sizes are the perfect tools for large, early planing boards, whilst the smaller sizes are the first choice for slalom racing and speed events. The Lightning presents a less extreme experience than the X-15 and will appeal to sailors looking for performance across a wider range of wind-speeds. It's cut fairly flat, but with the camber locked in, it delivers plenty of low-end power with a minimum of effort from the sailor. As the wind increases, seven battens and two new style roller cams ensure the sail remains totally stable, delivering phenomenal speeds whilst remaining easy to use.
