Our Slalom Fin combines a relatively upright base profile for early planning and upwind ability with a gradually swept tip for optimum turning at high speed. The maximum draft is placed slightly further back for maximum reaching speed while the vertical trailing edge ensures control in choppy and overpowered conditions.

Our RTM process offers far greater control and optimization of the mechanical properties of the fin. Twist and flex can be controlled by varying the material type, weave direction and material positioning. This allows us to have a stiffer base and vary the twist of the tip or trailing edge to optimize the performance.

In our development process we work with our pro riders to first optimize the foil and outline of the fin from computer cut prototypes. Once we have a model we are satisfied with, we prepare the RTM mold and research various material options to optimize the required performance.
