Windtek was founded in 1977 and has over thirty years experience in the U.K watersports market. As watersports equipment has evoloved over the years so has Windtek's product range. We stock equipment for windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, surfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, wake-boarding and waterskiing as well as all your clothing needs for both in and out of the water. We have a busy windsurfing school based at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the 2012 Olympic venue.
All the staff are avid watersports enthuiasts and are or have been instructors, and so understand the needs of anyone taking up watersports. They can also advise the more advanced through their own experience of the sports we offer.
Nick Russell
...an avid windsurfer, surfer and paddleboarder, Nick has been with the shop for many years and has recently taken the reigns concentrating on management of the shop and school.
Richard Fabbri
...an out and out waterman, Rich started surfing in his native South Africa at the tender age of eight. He is also a kitesurf instructor, races Thundercats and is now heading the Weymouth Stand Up Paddleboarding scene.
Jonathan Solomons
...has been windsurfing since the mid eighties and more recently surfing and wakeboarding. Originally an instructor he now concentrates on looking after the website and technical kit sales.
Simon Todd....joined us last year, he has been windsurfing since the age of 10 (but weirdly has not got any taller) and spends most of days on the water, or hunting for waves. He looks after the tuition side of the buiness as well as the Team 15 club.
