Windtek was founded in 1977 and has over thirty years experience in the U.K watersports market. As watersports equipment has evoloved over the years so has Windtek's product range. We stock equipment for windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, surfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, wake-boarding and waterskiing as well as all your clothing needs for both in and out of the water. We have a busy windsurfing school based at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the 2012 Olympic venue.
All the staff are avid watersports enthuiasts and are or have been instructors, and so understand the needs of anyone taking up watersports. They can also advise the more advanced through their own experience of the sports we offer.

...Simon after teaching many seasons Windsurfing with Windtek has now become the shops Manager. Portland Harbour and Weymouth is his backyard and he knows the area better than most. A once member of Windsurf Magazine's Test Team, he is tirelessly enthusiastic about windsurfing and seems to get as much enjoyment teaching it as he does blasting down the Harbour's speed course, or hunting for waves along the coast.
