Our windsurfing school operates in the shallow waters of Portland harbour - one of the most popular windsurfing destinations in the UK.  All our instructors have been trained to RYA standards.

We are also able to offer SUP and kayak hire and demo through Weymouth Watersports, based in Portland Harbour.  Click here more information.

Courses take place every day of the week from April to October. Start times are generally 10.00am and 2.00pm, although we reserve the right to cancel lessons when there is unfavourable weather or tide. We provide free, all the equipment needed to take part, you just need to bring a pair of shoes you don't mind getting wet and a towel.
 
LEARN
WINDSURF LESSONS KITESURF LESSONS
TASTER HALF DAY: £45
An excellent introduction to the sport. This is not an RYA course, but is a great way to introduce you to windsurfing in a safe enviroment. Children can be taught (depending on size!)
Sessions run from 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm.
START 1 DAY: £80
2 DAY: £150
Designed to kick start your windsurfing career, this course will get you to a standard that allows you to sail on your own. It covers all the practical and theorectical elements in a series of water based sessions.
Starting at 10am till 5pm each day with an hour lunch break
BEGINNER 1 DAY: £95
Our course aims to take you through the basics and get you up and going by the end of the day. We start in the morning with a briefing at the shop in Poole, then move to a dry land location to fly kites using bar and harness. After a video training session at lunch we progress to the water experiencing body dragging and kite relaunching before actually kitesurfing.
Kite surfing lessons are run through our approved kite school in Poole Harbour.
 
IMPROVE
WINDSURF LESSONS KITESURF LESSONS
PLANING 1 DAY: £90
INTRODUCTION TO PLANING Higher speeds in stronger winds for more excitement. Learn to use the footstraps and harness, and the skies the limit for what you can acheive! We also look at the elusive waterstart.
Starting at 10am till 5pm with an hour lunch break
GYBING 1 DAY: £90
CARVE GYBE & FAST TACK
Slick turns define a Windsurfers true ability. We show you how to turn like a pro. You will be astounded how achievable these moves are with a little help.
Starting at 10am till 5pm each day with an hour lunch break
PROGRESS 2 DAYS: £165
The goal of this more detailed lesson is to leave you competent and able to progress on your own. Day 1 is common with the One day course, on day 2 though we look into all kitesurfing theory in detail and improve your skills on the water.
Kite surfing lessons are run through our approved kite school in Poole Harbour.
 
EXCEL
WINDSURF LESSONS
TRICKS 1 DAY: £90
BOARD & SAIL TRICKERY
Chop Hops, Duck Gybes, Heli-Tacks... the list of tricks is extensive. During this day we will break down a variety of moves and show you how they are performed. This introduction to freestyle sailing will make you re-assess your own limits.
Starting at 10am till 5pm with an hour lunch break
WAVES 1 DAY: £90
INTRO TO WAVE SAILING
Launching into the waves for the first time is intimidating - we can be there to guide you through your first steps and make the whole experience far less painful (Note: Pupils must be of a standard where they are waterstarting 100% and confident sailing with no rescure cover).
Starting at 10am till 5pm each day with an hour lunch break
 
OTHER COURSES, HIRE & CLUBS
WINDSURF CANOE
PRIVATE TUITION
For individual attention or to concentrate on particular sailing skills e.g. carve gybes or waterstarts, private tuition is ideal - it takes about a day to organise.
Cost £30 per hour + £10 per extra person

HIRE
Hire with rescue cover is available at the following rates:
 - £15 per hour Beginner Kit
 - £20 per hour Intermediate Kit
 - £120 for 10 hours Beginners Kit
 - £30 per hour for Advanced Kit ( no rescue cover )
All hire must be prebooked to avoid disappointment

TEAM 15 CLUB
Our successful RYA Team 15 Club takes place on a Tuesday evening from 5.15 - 7.15. Tuition, racing and games will all be available for young keen windsurfers. If you don't have your own kit you can hire from us for just £10 per evening.

GROUPS
Schools, Business's, Stag and Hen do's can all be catered for. The key to our success with parties is our flexibility. We can arrange accommodation, catering and even other activities such as dinghy sailing. Please contact us for more details and to discuss your exact needs.		 CANOE HIRE
No wind! Don't despair, rent a canoe and get on the water anyway. There is nothing more relaxing on a calm day.
£25 for half day hire.
